New parents Daniel and Louise soon learnt how important a good night’s sleep is for toddlers and their parents!
With the rear bedrooms on their home facing east and receiving the early morning sunlight, along with being the furthest rooms from the main master bedroom, they wanted to know that, when they moved their daughter to her own room, her window would be secure and provide light and noise reduction to create a comfortable and ambient space for her to sleep in.
We measured both windows and assessed the construction of the home to custom-make two reveal-fit, remote controlled roller shutters to suit their unique needs.
As the home was built in 2019 to energy efficiency and building standards, the walls contained sheet insulation and the roof contained a reflective sarking, gaining access to the electrical connection needed to be done professionally and it was paramount that the installers and electrician worked together at the same time to get the job done properly.
Now Daniel and Louise have a happy, safe and sound-sleeping toddler! Reducing the morning light helped baby Chloe sleep in till 7am more often, the increased security and privacy helped mum sleep better knowing she was safe, and dad was happy that when his mates came around, the shutters helped reduce the noise to avoid disrupting Chloes sleep.
