Amanda and Carl wanted to stop the harsh afternoon glare and sunlight from entering their alfresco and making the area uncomfortable for their family on hot days.

Brandon met them onsite and suggested that we fit a slimline, electric Nu Style Galaxy blind on the exterior of their alfresco to provide them with easily adjustable shade and protection – remote control was important as the alfresco has a height of almost 2.7m.  We also powder-coated blind in a custom grey to match their home, to ensure a smooth and seamless aesthetic.

With young children, it was also a priority to be able to see through the blind from the inside to ensure that they could keep an eye on what was happening in the pool at all times – so we used a woven 95 Grade premium HVG fabric to allow visibility through the blind for their safety and peace of mind.

Installing the Galaxy Blind gave Amanda and Carl easy control over the temperature and shade of their alfresco whilst retaining a stylish look and transparent view of the pool area – all with just a touch of a button.

They were so happy with the quality of our products and the installation that, several months later, they had another blind and custom Nu Style shutters installed across the second story of their home for added protection and climate control.
